Translates Memories into Scents

Cypress

One of the most fleet footed foxes in the clan, at least in Cypress's humble opinion. He thinks he's the coolest thing since snow, but there is some truth to his words as he is a skilled mountain scout. The problem is that he is only seems extraordinary in winter. He can trace tracks and scents through blizzards and walk on meter high snow without sinking. Pouncing on rodents and lermies under the snow is one of his specialties and is always happy to demonstrate the skill in front of others. Those skill all becomes useless when the weather gets warmer or the clan travels towards warmer climates. Cypress's fur is ill suited for heat and no longer camouflages with his surroundings, sticking out like a white speck in a forest of green and brown. As a result he tends to stay close to the snow capped mountains where he can show off his many talents and avoid embarrassing himself in front of others.

Anthea.jpg

Anthea

The most common word that is used to describe Anthea extremely sweet. Her kindness oozes from every pore in her body and makes everyone in the room feel warm fuzzies. Other foxes are usually in a lighter mood after they have talking to her.

Even though she seems young, Thea acts very motherly. She will dote on everyone to make sure everyone has been taking care of themselves and had enough to eat. Sometimes she may even call them names like 'dear' and 'sunshine'. This bothers a couple of foxes, but they know she means well and don't try to stop her.

Vel.jpg

Vel

Self proclaimed obituary writer and record keeper. Others may know her as the Bone Snatcher. She collects bones from the fallen and the dead no matter how it happened. Whether it be a disease, old age, or battles, she collects bones from each of the fallen foxes in her clan. Her agile and swift body allows her to weave between the gaps so she can safely gather the bones in battles.

Afterwards, she etches in the deceased fox's history into the bones and strings them up to form chimes or sorts. Vel hangs them wherever the wind can rattle them, usually on the trees that surround her home. Other foxes may pay their tributes and leave gifts by the trees. She is always certain that the gifts remain undisturbed for the season before cleaning them up. Stories have been fabricated about her, but she doesn't mind much. They may say what ever they want, Velvila feels it's important to listen and remember the the dead, even if it's only one fox paying attention.
